On November 7, 2020, Joseph R. Biden Jr. addressed the nation for the first time as president-elect, and delivered an optimistic message saying, “This is the time to heal in America.” His delivered a message of unity saying, “Let this grim era of demonization in America begin to end here and now.” “It’s time to put away the harsh rhetoric, lower the temperature, see each other again, listen to each other again.”
Senator Kamala Harris of California blazed a trail of firsts, as San Francisco's first Black district attorney, then as California's first female attorney general. She is the first woman, and first woman of color on a winning presidential ticket. And, at 56, there are more firsts to come!
“While I may be the first woman in this office, I will not be the last,” she told a cheering audience in Wilmington, Delaware. “Because every little girl watching tonight sees that this is a country of possibilities.”
While supplies last, we'll throw in one of these illustrated scrolls commemorating the 45th President of the United States, absolutely free!
