Are you looking for a place to hold your RPG sessions? Does your geek-centric campus club need space for weekly meetings? Do your birthday kids just want to get together with their friends and play games? We have rooms specifically reserved for those kinds of events!

What do you get?
That depends on what it is that you’re doing! We can provide tables and chairs, access to our library of more than 400 games, use of a computer for the event organizer, and maybe even product discounts or special orders for specific games and activities.
Although we do not provide food or drink (nor do we have facilities to heat or keep them cold), you’re always welcome to bring your own non-alcoholic refreshments, including birthday cake. We encourage you to try one of the numerous restaurants in our neighborhood, many of which have take-out or catering options that would be ideal for a party or other event, and we also have snack and soda vending machines and a purified water dispenser in our main gaming room.
What does it cost?
Due to a variety of factors, Games of Berkeley charges 3 different rates for reserved event space:
- Weekday gaming events (such as a personal D&D session or private MtG draft) cost $5 per person. Whomever pays receives one "GoB Bucks" coupon for each attendee, good for $5 off the purchase of any product in the store. Payment may be made ahead of time or on the date of the reserved event.
- Weekend gaming events (same as above) cost $8 per person as of February 1, 2020. Whomever pays receives one "GoB Bucks" coupon for each attendee, good for $5 off the purchase of any product in the store. Payment may be made ahead of time or on the date of the reserved event.
- Parties or meetings (such as birthdays, clubs, etc.) cost $50 per hour, per room, for a minimum of 2 hours. (For example, a 2-hour party using two rooms will cost $200.) Payment must be made ahead of time in order to reserve the space, and fees are non-refundable if reservations are canceled less than 48 hours prior to the event.
Additional fees may be applied depending on the needs of individual events, but these will always be clarified before the event takes place.
How do I make a reservation?

Please note that event space is in high demand, and often fills up weeks in advance.
