Reserving Event Space

Are you looking for a place to hold your RPG sessions? Does your geek-centric campus club need space for weekly meetings? Do your birthday kids just want to get together with their friends and play games? We have rooms specifically reserved for those kinds of events!

What does it cost?

The standard deposit for reserved use of our game rooms is $5 per participant, on the day of the event. That deposit is returned in the form of a $5 coupon or collectible token that may be used toward the purchase of any products we sell. If the organizer of an event is paying for an entire group, the coupons or tokens go to the organizer, who may keep or share them as they like.

Additional fees may be applied depending on the needs of individual events, but these will always be clarified with the organizer before the event takes place.

Planning a Birthday?

Games of Berkeley usually hosts events related to growing our tabletop gaming community (such as tournaments, game nights and RPG events), birthdays are something that we do not usually schedule. That being said our pricing is different for these events. Room reservations are $50 per hour for a minimum of 2 hours. This fee will not be returned as a store credit coupon and must be paid in store before the room can be reserved. Events cancelled within 48 hours of the event will not be refunded. Additionally be advised that we do not have any sort of means to keep food cold nor heat it up. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a birthday party please contact us at the email listed below.

What does that get you?

That depends on what it is that you’re doing. We can provide tables and chairs, access to our library of more than 300 games, use of a computer for the event organizer, and maybe even product discounts or special orders for specific games and activities. We don’t provide food or drink, but you’re welcome to bring your own (so long as it’s non-alcoholic).

  • Event name and description
  • Estimated attendance
  • Clarify whether it is a public or private event
  • Desired days and times
