EVENT: Youth RPG "The Fane of the Oracle" [10/5]

A Dungeons & Dragons adventure taking place from 3:00-6:00 PM at Games of Berkeley on Thursday October 5, 2023 with DM Sam. This event has a soft 3:00 PM start time. Participants are welcome to gather, get settled, and prepare for the adventure and the actual game will begin closer to 3:30/3:45 to accommodate multiple school let-out times. This game is geared towards a younger audience (<18) and their parents/guardians and is great for new players to learn about roleplaying games.

Come back each month and your character will advance in level and gain powerful loot!

The Oracle has called, and would-be heroes, scoundrels, and thrill-seekers have answered, in hopes of finding glory, gold, and adventure! This semi-randomized quest is a perfect introduction to Dungeons & Dragons, featuring an even mix of interaction, exploration, and combat. Create your character (or choose a pre-made character from the Roster of Heroes), undertake the Oracle's mission, and gain wealth and power over your adventuring career... if you survive.

You are welcome to bring a level 1 character of your own. Otherwise, you can choose from a selection of pregenerated characters that are provided. The first hour or so of the game will be a character-building workshop for completely new players. Those bringing their own characters are welcome to skip that portion, or join and follow along.
