Quidditch is a full-contact, co-ed sport first created at Middlebury College in 2005. Four years later, Cal Quidditch was founded and has been an integral part of the UC Berkeley campus culture by providing students a magical place to have fun, build relationships, and stay active. Furthermore, it gives student athletes of all genders and identities the opportunity to train and compete in the rapidly-growing sport. Learn more about the rules of quidditch here, and the club itself here.
At UC Berkeley, Cal Quidditch has grown to one of the most recognizable clubs on campus with 150+ members and two competitive teams. This fundraiser t-shirt references the longtime friendly(?) rivalry between UC Berkeley and Stanford.

SPECIAL NOTE: The two leagues that operate the real-life sport in the United States, US Quidditch and Major League Quidditch, are in the process of changing its name, in part due to trademark issues, but also in an ongoing effort to protest and separate itself from the anti-trans views of the fictional sport's creator, JK Rowling. UC Berkeley's team will also be changing its name, though the new name has yet to be decided. Games of Berkeley supports this decision, and intends to continue its sponsorship and fundraising for the team for as long as they wish to continue our affiliation. GO BEARS!
