WAILIN’ WALTER’S PICK OF THE WEEK—Shadowmoor!

Yeah, the Magic the Gathering release, and, what the hell, we haven’t mentioned one of these in a while. And Walter adds, ‘its got pretty colors…’ uh, yeah.

SCREAMIN’ STEEN SEZ ‘CHECK IT OUT’
5/10

New Privateer, for old Warmachine, and new Hordes—stuff’s coming out every week, it seems.  And Paizo is publishing just as furiously, with a new bunch of Pathfinder releases, including ‘Classic Monsters Revisited’ and ‘Curse of the Crimson Throne’, as well as the ‘Critical Fumble’ deck, which looks like it could be a lot of fun. * Steve Jackson lets loose ‘Munchkin Cthulhu Cursed Demo’ deck, which, besides offering a nice little tutorial with a rigged deck, offers up a new bunch of cards for the game. *  White Wolf kicks out a new batch of releases with ‘Tribes of the Moon’ Werewolf; ‘Innocents’ for World of Darkness (with a kid on the cover that makes me think of the Borribles); and ‘Wonders of the Lost Age’ for Exalted.

‘Lord of the Fries’ is back, in a bigger box and a higher price, but where else can you enjoy Hells premier fast food restaurant. * ‘Ticket to Ride, USA’ dropped back in, and I can think of at least one person who will be very glad about that. * ‘Zooloretto: Aquaretto’ follows up on the original game by moving into the sea(park). * A couple of odd-balls got restocked: ‘Tannhauser’, a high-chrome boardgame of mutant Nazis, or some such madness, and ‘War on Terror’, which takes…I’m not quite sure what take it offers, other than it leaves you squirming a bit.  And speaking of squirming, we also got in a restock on our ‘Godzilla Slippers’—all you need now a few little plastic Bambis…maybe our pink flamingos would serve just as well.

L-C-R, a cute little game we sell up front, offers up a ‘Deluxe Metal Tin’ version, for those of you who want somewhere to put the dice when you’re not slinging them. * ‘Robotech: Shadow Chronicles’ came back in, along with the RPG ‘Naughty & Nice’, for those of you who want to add an extra element to your ‘roleplaying’. * Our jumbo Godzilla (20”) waddled back into the store, taking up the place of our late, great, and now unavailable, giant Cthulhu. *  And we got in some of the new ‘Saga’ kinda-sorta collectable card game…well, you buy the boosters here, at the store, and use the codes to register units in the on-line game…I can feel fresh gray hairs sprouting on my chin…
